Some Speculation on Xe-HPG/DG2 Pricing: The top 512 EU SKU with 16 GB of GDDR6 cannot feasibly be $250 like some people are expecting. A major issue here is that GDDR6 pricing is completely wack right now.

GDDR6 = $12/GB => 16GB = $192 Die = $66-88 (Average, assumes N6 pricing is the same as N7) Other components like VRMs and vBIOS = $20-30 (I don't know true value so complete guess) Total = $278-310

If Intel wants to gain any market share, this'll need to be less than $300, which is difficult given the circumstances. I'm skeptical N6 is the same price as N7 too, due to the 5 EUV layers. Also, component shortages might mean the last portion is much more expensive.

Only time will tell if Intel is willing to take a loss, in order to become a proper competitor.
