@RedGamingTech: youtu.be/41aHJ77gQZg?t=725 (Timestamped) Battlemage 6-8 months after Alchemist Alchemist to Celestial: Evolutions of the same architecture Druid: Major Redesign (1/4)
-
Two Possibilities: 1. Alchemist to Celestial will all be Gen12.x 2. Gen13 doesn't have too many major changes and Gen14 will have the major changes (2/4)
-
Slight tangent, but if Battlemage is what was previously DG3, then it's extremely likely to be Gen13 and have MCM. In that case, Gen13 is likely relatively small changes, but enough to be competitive against at least Lovelace.
-
As for Nvidia Lovelace and DLSS 3.0: DLSS 3.0 is very likely to come with Lovelace launch, but unsure of compatibility with Ampere and Turing Quality improved considerably, but the focus is on ray tracing performance Lovelace has big changes to how ray tracing is handled. (3/4)
-
Nvidia is adopting a tick-tock model, with a refresh and then a new architecture. This could mean that Lovelace is really just mainly a node shrink. (Other than RT) (4/4)
